Description

A day in the life of a 12-year-old Arab fisherman on his boat in Shadegan Pond, Khuzestan, Iran. The young boy sees the marshy water as a second home, which is also the primary source of his family's livelihood. He worries about the uncertain future of Shadegan Pond, and his own future should it cease to exist in this ruminating short about environmental degradation and its possibly devastating effect on people who are already subsistence living.
