Description
Trapped in the repetitive cycle of her daily life, Maryam finds herself increasingly isolated and detached from those around her. Amid silent frustrations and unmet expectations, her solitude deepens as she feels invisible in her own world. Faced with an overwhelming sense of loneliness, Maryam is finally driven to confront the reality of her situation and the possibility of change. This evocative short is a reflective journey through the quiet struggles of inner turmoil, exploring resilience and self-discovery.

Dhoha Abdelsattar
Dhoha Abdelsattar is a Qatari lens-based artist, writer, and director. Her work delves into themes of identity and community through portrait photography, alternative darkroom techniques, and narrative filmmaking. Abdelsattar has exhibited internationally and participated in creative residencies and labs, including with Arthere Istanbul, Foundation Fotodok in Utrecht, and Doha Film Institute’s short documentary lab.
