Under the oppressive regime of Saddam Hussein in Iraqi Kurdistan, two orphaned brothers, Dana and Zana, are inspired to travel to America. A decision the pair arrive at after seeing ‘Superman’ in the city’s first cinema. They have no passports or money—and their only means of transport is a donkey called Michael Jackson.
